Uninstall Monkey Tools

Uninstall Process Overview

Should you need to remove Monkey Tools from your computer, you need to take the following steps:

  • Close Excel
  • Uninstall Monkey Tools
  • Wait for the confirmation message
We have enclosed steps specific to Windows 10 and Windows 11 below for your use.

Monkey Tools Uninstallation Steps

Step 1: Close Excel

Step 2: Open the Settings -> Apps & Features menu

To open the Apps & Features menu:

  • Press your Windows key
  • Type “Add or remove programs”
  • Press Enter

 

Step 3: Search for and Uninstall Monkey Tools

Next, you need to locate Monkey Tools in the list of installed applications and trigger the remove. The steps to do this depend on your operating system.

Windows 11

  1. Type “monkey” into the search box
  2. Click the vertical 3 dots beside Monkey Tools
  3. Choose Uninstall

Windows 10

  1. Type “monkey” into the search box
  2. Click the Monkey Tools program
  3. Choose Uninstall

Step 4: Confirm removal of Monkey Tools

After triggering the uninstall process, the Monkey Tools Maintenance application will launch. Confirm that you would like to remove the application from the computer and click OK.

The uninstallation is complete when you see the message letting you know that ‘The Monkey Tools unregistration succeeded.’

Step 5: Restart Excel

When you launch Excel, Monkey Tools will no longer be present on your system.
